If you aren’t from the South where Sundrop is served, you can use any type of lemon-lime soda. This cake is so moist that it literally will melt in your mouth. It’s even better the second or third day as the glaze settles in the cake. So easy to make, you’ll wonder where this recipe has been all your life.

Ingredients
1 box lemon cake mix 1 small box lemon pudding mix 1 can Sundrop 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 2-3 tbsp. milk | 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon juice 3 eggs 3/4 c. oil |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine cake mix, pudding mix, Sundrop, eggs, vanilla, lemon juice and oil together in a medium bowl.
- Beat with electric mixer until well blended.
- Pour into greased bundt pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until done.
- Take out of pan while hot, about 10-20 minutes after taking out of oven.
- While cake is baking, mix together powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze. Add less or more milk to reach your desired consistency. You can also add a dash of vanilla and lemon juice if you would like.
- Pour over cake while warm.
