Are they a side dish? Are they a dessert? Why not eat them as both during the same meal? They are that good. Buttery, sweet, and caramelized. We’ll take these over a baked sweet potato any day.

Ingredients
3 or 4 sweet potatoes 1 stick butter | 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. sugar |
Directions
- Slice potatoes about 1/8th” thick.
- Melt butter halfway in large skillet.
- Place potatoes in a large skillet over butter.
- Pour both sugars over the potatoes.
- Over medium heat, cook for about 15-20 minutes until sugar has caramelized and potatoes are tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
