Chocolate Chip Pie

A rich, chocolatey dessert. Simple, yet deceptively sweet. A nice ending to any meal, or a celebratory event.

Serves
6-8

Ingredients

2 eggs beaten
½ c. nuts
½ c. white corn syrup
½ stick melted butter
½ c. chocolate chips
½ c. sugar
9” unbaked pie shell
 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Divide nuts and chocolate chips in half. Put half in unbaked pie shell.
  3. Mix syrup, eggs, butter, and sugar together. Stir in remaining nuts and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour over other nuts and chocolate chips in pie shell.
  5. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
