Turkey and dressing is a combination that cannot be beaten. Change my mind. But with this recipe, you might even skip the turkey and just fill up on this stuff – it’s that good.

Ingredients
1/3 c. butter 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 prepared recipe of cornbread, crumbled 3 c. chicken broth 2 eggs, beaten | 5 canned biscuits, cooked and crumbled 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. salt |
Directions
- Saute onions in butter. When sauteed, remove from heat and stir in pepper, salt, and sage.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Lightly grease a 9×13″ pan.
- In large bowl, combine cornbread, biscuits, cooked onion mixture.
- Stir in broth and eggs into cornbread mixture.
- Blend everything together well.
- Pour into prepared baking dish.
- Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Pour a little more broth over dressing halfway through cooking for a more moist cornbread.
