Yeah, okay, it sounds kinda weird. But trust us, you’ll be presently surprised. The eggs and sugar combine to make a dense and indulgent pie. Requiring only a few common ingredients, this pie can be whipped together quickly and will please a hungry family.

10 min.

Serves
6-8

Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. milk
½ c. self-rising flour
1 pie shell, unbaked
1 ½ c. sugar
¼ c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Stir together well.
  4. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  5. Bake for approximately 1 hour.
