Pasta is an all-time comfort food around here, but sometimes, you want to enjoy a little bit of a lighter version. This recipe has all the flavor of original alfredo but doesn’t feel as heavy. Through in some spinach and you’ve got yourself a keeper.

Ingredients
10 oz. angel hair pasta 4 tbsp. butter 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 c. milk 4 c. spinach | 6 oz. cream cheese 3/4 c. Parmesan 1 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. salt |
Directions
- In a large pot of water, boil pasta to cook it. Drain immediately once al dente is reached.
- Prepare sauce while pasta is cooking. Place butter in a saucepan. Begin to melt it over medium heat, then add garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes.
- Turn the heat down to medium-low.
- Add the milk and cream cheese. Whisk over the heat until cream cheese has melted.
- Whisk in Parmesan cheese and continue to cook until sauce reaches a low simmer. Cook until thick.
- Season sauce with salt and pepper.
- Add the fresh spinach and stir until wilted.
- Add sauce to the pasta and stir together.
- Enjoy immediately.
