Ingredients
1/4 c. pan drippings from roast poultry 1/4 c. flour Salt and pepper to taste | 2 c. chicken broth or water 1 boiled egg, crumbled |
Directions
- Pour roast pan drippings into measuring cup, being sure to scrape the browned bits into the cup then skim and reserve the fat from drippings in the cup.
- Place the drippings in a saucepan. Stir in flour.
- Then stir in broth or water.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.
- Stir in crumbled boiled egg.
- Then cook one minute more.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
