Moist and dense yet light and airy. Oh, and it has a pound of butter of course so this recipe isn’t for those on a diet. But we know you will enjoy it either way.

Ingredients
1 lb. butter 2 2/3 c. sugar 3 1/2 c. cake flour | 8 eggs 8 tbsp. Pet Milk 1 tsp. vanilla |
Directions
- Seperate eggs.
- Beat egg whites and add 6 tbsp. sugar.
- Place in refrigerator while working on the remaining steps.
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Add egg yolks two at a time, beating well in between each addition.
- Add flour and milk.
- Beat for 10 minutes.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Place mixture in loaf pans, makes two.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
