Sausage and rice don’t sound like they would go well together. But trust us, in this dish they do. It’s cheesy and savory goodness in this simple side dish.

Ingredients
1 lb. mild sausage 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 small green pepper | 2 pkgs. Boil-n-Bag white rice 1 medium jar diced pimentos 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions
- Brown sausage and saute green pepper in a skillet and drain the grease.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare rice according to the package directions.
- Mix together all ingredients, saving 1/2 cup of cheese to sprinkle on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
