The evolution of the sausage ball – just when you thought things couldn’t get any better? These are best served for breakfast, as opposed to an appetizer like traditional sausage balls.

Ingredients
2 pkgs. crescent rolls 8-oz. cream cheese, softened | 1 lb. sausage 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions
- Brown and scramble sausage in a pan. Drain well.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix softened cream cheese with sausage.
- Layer one package of crescent rolls on the bottom of a 9×13″ pan.
- Next layer sausage mixture.
- Top with cheddar cheese and then remaining package of crescent rolls.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
