Ingredients
1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cocoa 2 heaping tbsp. plain flour 1 c. milk | 2 eggs, separated 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 stick butter 1 baked pie shell |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Mix together sugar, cocoa, and flour in skillet.
- Add in milk and egg yolks. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
- Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Combine.
- Pour into baked pie shell.
- Beat 2 egg whites in a bowl until stiff. Add 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla.
- Pour over chocolate in pie.
- Bake pie in oven for 25 minutes or until meringue is light brown.
