An evolution from the classic Cheese Pie. These are more cake-like and incredibly creamy. It’s a dessert that is hard to beat and easy to make.

Ingredients
1 box. Butter Golden Cake Mix 1 stick butter, melted 1 egg, beaten | 8-oz. cream cheese, softened 3 eggs 1 box confectioners sugar |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix ingredients in the left column listed above together well with an electric mixer.
- Press the mixture into a 9×13″ pan.
- Then, mix the ingredients on the right column listed above together well with an electric mixer.
- Pour this mixture over the cake batter that you have pressed into the pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Then, immediately turn the oven down to 325 and bake for an additional 29 minutes.
- For some, you would poke to cake to ensure the utensil comes out clean to know the cake is done. This will not work here, as the cake is supposed to be gooey and it will set up as it cools.
