Ingredients
5 Granny Smith apples 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 uncooked pie shell | 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 stick butter 3/4 c. sour cream |
Directions
- Peel and cut apples into eighths.
- Place apples, butter, and sugars into a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until apples are tender.
- Stir in vanilla. Set apples away from heat to let cool.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- About thirty minutes later when apples are cool, stir in sour cream.
- Place mixture in pie shell.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
